Individuals and couples as a sponsored activity

Balloon flights will take place from March - October 2009 at 60 locations in England, Scotland and Wales. The cost of travel to the site is not included.

Sponsorees will be asked to find 15 people to sponsor them at 1/2p per foot! As the balloon will go to 2,000ft this works out at £10 per sponsor. If they can achieve this, they will get their flight for £99 and the charity will receive £75.

If they can only muster £100 in sponsorship, the charity will still receive £75 but the flight will cost £149. The balance will be due 12 weeks before travel and a refund provided appropriate to the value of the sponsorship raised once the flight has been undertaken.

If no sponsorship is raised, the retail price of £179pp will apply.

Groups

Up to 12 people can travel together on a balloon flight making it a perfect activity for groups. It is also an excellent fundraiser!

Any group of 10 or more can raise at least £750 and get their balloon flight for £99! Each flyer would also receive a T-shirt printed with a logo personalised to the group.

Hot air balloon flights as a Christmas or Birthday gift

This £179 voucher is purchased for a non-refundable deposit of £20 with the balance due once the date is confirmed. A personalised voucher, T-shirt and potential sponsor form is supplied which can be wrapped and given on the day.

The sponsor form would be sent in the hope that the recipient decides to turn it into a sponsored trip. If it goes through without sponsorship, the charity will receive £10 and the full voucher price will apply. The person giving the gift will receive notification of the balance due which must be paid in full prior to any refund which is appropriate in relation to any sponsorship raised.
